His father is Mr. Rodolfo, who is 35 years old and works for a vegetable company in the quality control area. He is a hardworking father and feels blessed by God because he still has a job to support his home. His wife, Mrs. Alma Azucena, is 30 years old. She is a mother dedicated to looking after her home and her children. The mother is undergoing physiotherapy treatment because she has poor blood circulation. Diego’s siblings are Bianca Monserrath, who is 9 years old, and Esteban Mauricio, who is 8 years old; they both are smart. As a family, they attend church to learn more about God. The family's home is its own, and they have a room made with blocks, where they have 2 beds and 2 wardrobes. The kitchen is made of wood and has a stove, a shelf, a small table, and 8 plastic chairs. They also have electricity and running water. Both parents are grateful for the opportunity given to their child to get an education with Christian principles and thus have a better future.
