Wesner

Born: Aug. 13, 2019

Location: Cap-Rouge, Haiti

Wesner is a young boy who lives in Cap Rouge, communal section of Cayes Jacmel, the southeast of Haiti. He was born on August 13, 2019 and he is 5. His mother’s name is Predencia and his father Jean and they have 6 children. Wesner attends school and he is in preschool and works well. In his free time, he enjoys playing ball and hide and seek with his brothers and sisters. Wesner lives with his mother and father. Their home is made of stone, has 2 bedrooms, and is covered with a sheet metal roof. The children sleep on pieces of fabric. Wesner is living in a truly difficult situation, as his parents do not have enough means to help him with his needs. The situation is truly challenging, and his parents cannot take care of him and their other children, which has resulted in him being malnourished. To find water, they have to walk a lot because they do not have a tank. To cook, they rely on wood. The country's situation is becoming worse, and life is difficult. The children are in need, because Wesner's parents have six children and struggle to meet their needs, especially to feed them. They would like to find some help, so that they can take care of him.
