Ecson

Born: Feb. 23, 2020

Location: Cap-Rouge, Haiti

Ecson is a boy who lives in Cap Rouge communal section of Cayes Jacmel, the southeast of Haiti. He was born on February 23, 2020, and he is 3. His mother’s name is Santha, and she is a farmer. Ecson has 3 siblings. Ecson recently started going to school, he's in PS1. He has not yet fully adapted to school. In his free time, he plays with his siblings, and he likes to play ball and piano games. He likes cats and goes to church. He goes to school every day from 7 to 2. Ecson lives with his mother, in a house made of stone and covered with roof of sheet. They don’t have too much furniture in the house; they have table, a bed and some chairs. He lives in a very difficult situation, because his mother alone cannot afford his needs. He is a child who is always healthy but sometime has the flu. His mother does not have only him as a child. His father does not take responsibility, so the situation he lives in is very complicated. They used to take water from the tank and the river. To make food they use wood. Because of the situation of the country, most of the parents are complaining about the costly life. They don’t know what to do in those very hard times. The reason why Ecson needs help is because he needs support so that he can continue with his school and to help his parents, because his parents do not have the possibility to take care of him, as they should. They would like to find some help, so that they can take care of him.
