Iker is a kind and obedient boy. He also helps in some activities at home. He recognizes some colors and numbers from 1 to 5; he wants to learn how to read later, because he always asks about what the signs say in the street. He is studying here at AOJ, but now he is doing it through study guides. His mother is Karen who works in a vegetable farm and she works 24-hour shifts. She is grateful to God as her mother supports her taking care of her son. The father did not want to be responsible, that is why she has been working hard to provide for her family. Iker’s grandmother is Mrs. Romelia who is 50 years old and watches over the little Iker. The house belongs to Mrs. Romelia and it is made of wood. The family has a bed and a wardrobe; the kitchen is made of sheet metal, and it is shared with the family, they have a gas stove. The mother would like that her beloved son to have the opportunity to be prepared academically and also spiritually and also to have a better future.
